How watches work
Watches are built for recurring monitoring, not one-time browsing. They turn the public STOCK Act feed into a focused list for the lawmakers and tickers you already care about.
Choose what to monitor
A ticker watch matches any normalized filing row for that company. A politician watch matches normalized rows filed by that lawmaker.
Get the new match by email
After a new public disclosure is processed and matches your watch, an email is sent to your account. This happens after filing publication, not after trade execution.
Verify the filing
Open the official filing first, then use the feed, politician page, or ticker page when a match needs a closer look.
What the email includes
A watch email includes the lawmaker, ticker, transaction type, owner, reported dollar range, trade date, filed date, delay, checked timestamp, and official source link. It also explains which saved watch matched.
What watches do not prove
STOCK Act filings are delayed public records. A watch can surface a new disclosure, but it cannot prove intent, inside information, legality, or future returns. Use watches as a research starting point alongside the trade feed, politician profiles, ticker pages, and your own investment process.
